SUMMARY:PIDMIC Workshop @ ACHEMA
DESCRIPTION:The “Process Industry Data Model Integration Congress – PIDMIC” brings together global organizations dealing with “Semantic Data Structures along the Plant Lifecycle”.  A number of associations develop and implement vendor independent information models to generate a digital twin that enables process industry to do an integrated engineering along the asset lifecycle from process development\, engineering\, construction and operations and across the disciplines process engineering\, machine and apparatus\, piping and automation. Over the last few years there have been a lot of bilateral interactions between the associations driven by the common understanding that we have to align these activities to fulfill this vision.\nDEXPI took the opportunity of the ACHEMA to bring together the relevant associations (ISO\, IEC\, OPC\, IDTA\, ECLASS\, VDMA\, CFIHOS\, USPI\, Mimosa\, NAMUR\, CII\, THTH\, SEIIA\, …) in a two days congress\, in order to get transparency on their activity\, align on current topics and define a common roadmap for further development of the structural digital twin for the process industry.\nIn the first part of the congress the associations will give presentations to make their activities transparent based on a questionnaire distributed and answered in advance in order to define the current status of the information models.  In the second part current developments are presented and discussed to aligne these developments.
