We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Gregor Tolksdorf, Head of Specification Teams of DEXPI e.V., will be speaking at the upcoming CAPE-OPEN 2025 Annual Meeting, taking place on 30–31 October 2025 at the University of Ghent (Belgium).

Update on DEXPI Standards
DEXPI 2.0 and its expected impact on process engineering research and development as well as the interplay with process simulation
His talk will highlight how DEXPI 2.0, the recently published specification for process and plant models, helps create a robust foundation for diagram data handover in the early phases of the asset life cycle. Especially the now available standardized format for serializing process flow diagrams as well as a standardized taxonomy for process steps / unit operations will change how process engineers can collaborate.
